Wireless optical links in the atmosphere serve as a valuable technology alongside microwave links
and optical fibers to address the increasing demand for high-speed telecommunications. However, meteorological conditions such as fog, rain, and snow pose significant challenges to the transmission of light beams through the atmosphere. The aim of this work is to study the behavior of a hybrid system which combine two systems, FSO and SAC-OCDMA,using EDEU code (enhanced eigen-value Unity) with OR detection. We also evaluated the performance of the hybrid system network, which is inconsistent with the various parameters that reduce the efficiency of the system in terms of error rate and Q-factor and eye diagram and at different weather attenuation. The results found showed that the performance of the EDEU code exceeds the DEU code in terms of bit error rate (BER), and allowed us to multiplex about 15 more users when using the EDEU code compared to the system using the DEU code. We also found that more the aperture receiving is decreasing less are the performances of FSO/SACOCDMA system. |
