Abstract — Artificial Intelligence (AI), also dubbed Industrial Revolution 4.0, is already
a part of our lives and, as technology matures, it will play a key role in future wars. The main objective of our work is to validate the following expression : how the convergence of distributed computing and smart grids is leading to the next generation of situational understanding in the battle space. For this we have proposed a system called artificial intelligence for a modern army (AIMA). It is like entering images of battlefields or borders. These images will go through a step of detecting moving objects using the YOLO V4. Each foreground image will be analyzed using our proposed CNN models to detect the type of tank in action to conclude whether the situation captured by the drone cameras is dangerous or not. After various tests and comparisons carried out using evaluation and benchmark measures , the results obtained were satisfactory in terms of accuracy with variation of the various hyper parameters such as the Learning rate, data increase, batch size, number of pockets. . . etc Keywords : yolov4, tank detection, military operation, object detection, object tracking.. |
