Résumé : |
This memory aims to study the mechanical behavior of plates by analytical and
numerical approach. In Part analytical study , a consistent exponential variationally shear deformation theory for bi- directional bending thick plates The theory presented here is based on the theory of classical plate. In this refined shear deformation theory, an exponential warping function is used through the thickness of the plate to include the effect of the deformation of transverse shear and rotational inertia. The numbers of unknown displacement variables in the proposed theory are same as that in first order shear deformation theory. The transverse shear stress can be obtained directly from the constitutive relations satisfying the shear stress free surface conditions on the top and bottom surfaces of the plate, hence the theory does not require shear correction factor. The equilibrium equations and boundary conditions of the theory are obtained using the principle of virtual work. In the second part concerning the numerical study, mechanical modeling procedure using the finite element method by calculating code ABAQUS is proposed in order to understand the mechanical behavior of the plates. The thick square plates simply supported isotropic materials are taken into account according to details in the chapter on the numerical study. Numerical examples show that the models ( Analytical and digital) is accurate and effective, the results of displacements and stresses are compared with other refined theories and the exact theory and the results of the ABAQUS software to show the effectiveness of the proposed theory . The results obtained using the proposed theory and those of ABAQUS software are in good agreement with the exact yield results. Consequently, the aim of this thesis is to study the bending of the isotropic thick plate using a theory of exponential shear deformation and to compare these results with those found by the ABAQUS calculation software. |
